Welcome to NAPM-Central California's website!  We are an affiliate of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).  NAPM-CC, in conjunction with ISM, is a communication link with more than 40,000 supply management professionals. We are a progressive association with a mission to provide national and international leadership in purchasing and materials management, particularly in the areas of education, research and standards of excellence. NAPM-CC holds its Annual Meeting in May to elect new Board of Directors’ officers and to honor its presidents of past years. 

Pictured above, this year’s attendees included our current President, Jim O’Connell; Larry Rackley (1980-81); Dave Louis, C.P.M. (1995-96); Dave Addler, C.P.M. (1990-91-92); Laura Smith, C.P.M. Manufacturing continued its growth in July as the PMI registered 50.9 percent, a decrease of 4.4 percentage points when compared to June's reading of 55.3 percent. The PMI registered the lowest reading since July 2009, when it registered 49 percent. A reading above 50 percent indicates that the manufacturing economy is generally expanding; below 50 percent indicates that it is generally contracting.
